Terms of Use (EULA)
App: Ledger Life Notes
Effective date: July 24, 2026
1. Acceptance
By registering for or using Ledger, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What Ledger is
Ledger is a reading and reflection app for short handwritten-style pages on work, family, money, daily friction, and hard truths. Optional Board posts and comments stay on your device unless we later enable cloud features you turn on. Ledger is for education and reflection — not legal, medical, tax, or investment advice.
3. Accounts
You may sign in with Sign in with Apple or an email and password. You must keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. There is no guest mode — an account is required to use Ledger.
4. Your content
Private notes, Board posts, and comments you create belong to you. You grant us a limited license to store and display them as needed to operate the app on your devices. Do not post illegal, abusive, or others’ private information.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, scrape content at scale, or attempt unauthorized access.
6. Subscriptions (Ledger Pro)
You can read the first five handwritten pages for free. Optional Ledger Pro unlocks all pages as an auto-renewable subscription through your Apple ID (reference pricing: about $4.99/month or $29.99/year; exact price shown in the app for your storefront). Payment is charged at confirmation; renewals occur unless cancelled at least 24 hours before period end. Manage in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
7. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is.” Pages reflect editorial opinions and life judgment notes — not professional advice. You decide how to use them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Principles is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of Ledger.
9. Apple
These terms are between you and First Principles, not Apple. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you regarding App Store distribution.
