App: RentInspect Proof

RentInspect Proof (“we”, “the app”) helps landlords and tenants document move-in and move-out property conditions. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the app processes and how it is used.
The app keeps a copy of your data on your iPhone for fast access and offline use:
When you sign in, your inspection data is securely synced to your account so you can restore it on a new phone. This includes property records, checklists, notes, photo metadata, and photo files.
Cloud backup uses Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage). Data is stored under your Firebase user ID and is protected by Firebase security rules so only your signed-in account can access it. We do not operate a separate RentInspect server farm. Firebase’s privacy policy applies: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use cross-app tracking.
Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication (Google) with email/password and/or Sign in with Apple. We receive your account identifier, email address, and display name to operate your account and sync your data.
With your permission, the app may access the camera to capture inspection evidence photos.
With your permission, the app may access location while in use to embed timestamp and approximate GPS coordinates in photo watermarks. Location is used only at capture time and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
When you type an address, Apple MapKit may provide suggestions. That processing is subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device for move-in or move-out dates you enter. No push notification server operated by us is required.
RentInspect Proof Pro is billed through your Apple ID. Apple processes payment; we do not receive your full payment card number. We receive subscription entitlement status from Apple to unlock Pro features (unlimited properties/inspections and PDF export).
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region).
You can sign out at any time. You can disable camera, location, or notifications in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes local data from your device; cloud data tied to your account remains until you delete your Firebase account or contact us at support@firstprinciples.app.
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
